I ride a WR450 in Arizona. A ride can range from hard pack to rock to sandy wash to loose shale. I haven't found a tire that will work well in sand. Is it true a split center knob will provide better control. Any suggestions? I was thinking the Shinko in this group you presented.

Excellent tire reviews. Thank you. One suggestion, make a playlist of your tire videos and sorted by date released.

Looking forward to hearing your review on the 546. I'm currently running one paired with the 505 Cheater on my 300 xc in central interior of BC. Both tires seem great so far.

I've run the M59 a lot and agree it is a great bench mark tire. I spooned on a Kenda 775 Washougal II last year and put on a lot of miles here in Washington State. IMO it performs almost exactly the same as the M59 EXCEPT that it is way more durable & is way less expensive. I'd suggest anyone give it a try.

I totally agree with not liking testing front tires. I've run the pirelli scorpion pro FIM or Pirelli MX extra X front for a long time here in Colorado and really like them. have you tried these and if so what do you think of them? it looks very similar to your pick there but I think they're a little cheaper and the pro FIM is DOT rated.

The M59 is a little pricey but it is well worth the money and they last forever it was a great all-around tire

I like the GT fatty 90/100 in our terrain which is sandstone rock and roots. Its big and fat so its not as good in fast stuff as its slightly slower to steer due to gyro and profile

I'm not a pro by any standards but I'm running that Shinko front with tubliss at 8psi and it's treated me well so far
