oh and if both premium and cheap brands are similar or thoughts that the cheaper is better than the premium ones..still waiting for their company to sponsor a tyre for a team on a high performance race.. will make a hella marketing campaign and make their brands well known to skeptics doubting their performance ..

errr.. if people are arguing about cheap tyres and the premium ones.. and what is the point of the disclaimer on the last part of the vid stating "consumer could always obtain view from independent tester online".. i see useless argument going on for months..

When i was learning to drive – i was told not to press the clutch till the car is about to stop as the engine helps in braking- called engine braking

Notice how the first test had different alloys, & when taken off a different set are on the car.
    Second test different alloys.
The engineers probably turned the ABS off & sprayed the discs with WD40.
Manufactures will go to so many lengths just to sell their product.
I personally don't believe these tests because I wasn't there to over see it.
All of these edited clips just don't sell it to me.
Imported (budget) tyres cost less because wages are less & rubber grows all over Asia.

I know how this test was made.
The Driver of golf, which had "budget" tires, was not fully braking, when "premium" one did.

Pure marketing. Pay attention to emergency braking lights (hazard warning lights). With continental tyres experiment they appear sooner than normal ones, meaning higher braking force with continental tyres…

Forget tyres, learn to drive properly and responsibly, respect other motorists and don't ever drink and drive.

A Premium tyre only needs to stop you from having an accident once to pay for themselves. Budget tyres should be banned and people who think they are adequate are deluded.!!!

Useless marketing test. if you want to compare then connect the car to a PC or something and show us the exact amount of acceleration, brake force etc and mark visually where the braking process start, and as many stated use the same car and the same rims. See ya.

Continental makes good and safe tyres…but I find them a but noisy. I had Sport Contact 2 on an earlier car and now I have SportContact 5 on my current car. Nice tyres but again a bit noisy in my opinion…Thats also the conslusion in many reviews.

I experienced terrible cracking with Continental Conti Sport Contact 3. After three years, there are long cracks between the tire treads. The tires were only used for driving around 5000km during this time. The new price of this tire is around 150£/180Euros per tire. Throwing them away for Dunlops.
